Paige: Can I see?
Me: Sure.
Paige: Wait a minute, why are you talking about me?
Me: I just …
Paige: I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU SAID I HAVE A FLAT BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!
She knows better than to use the word “ass” in front of me.
Me: But … uh … but …
Paige: How could you tell the INTERNET that I have no butt?
Me: In comparison to my “big butt” your butt is flat.
Paige: This is so embarrassing. I can’t believe you would do that.
Me: What do you want me to do now? What’s done is done.
Paige: You better tell the Internet that I don’t have a flat butt.
Me: Are you serious?
Paige: You’re going to have to show me that you told them tomorrow.
Me: Fine.
Here goes:
“INTERNET, PAIGE DOES NOT HAVE A FLAT ASS. HER ASS IS QUITE SHAPELY. NEITHER TOO BIG NOR TOO SMALL, HER ASS IS THE “PERFECT 10″ OF ASSES.”
My apologies to all that were misinformed by yesterday’s assertions. Clearly, I need to do a little “fact checking” when writing posts about my daughter.

Been following since I saw you on CNN.com. I love that you’re keeping it real, keeping it human, instead of pretending to go by the book as we all “should.” I think I may have lost interest if you had been “counting your calories, losing 3 pounds every week and are slimming down to just the right size in no time!” It’s refreshing to see the same struggles I have and can’t wait to read your next post. Ha! Oh dear, are you going to be on Paige patrol from now on? I’m not sure how my son would react to the posts about him but thus far he is oblivious to the existence of my blog. But he does like to look through my flickr pix. And he even art directs while I’m shooting photos. But copy editing? Not so sure about that.
