Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell

When we were house sitting, we just happen to notice a cow-printed kaftan in the dining room.

One could ask all the “why’s” but I’d rather bask in the fact that there is such a thing as a cow-printed kaftan.

Paige threatened to wear it around Capitol Hill to embarrass me.

I said, “Go ahead – no one will really notice.”

PS. She is inheriting my humor! Yay!

PPS. She is going to kill me for posting these.

  4. I love it, both the posts about your house sitting “staycation” are great. I am also watching my weight/working on losing weight and am having one of those days where I want to eat everything chocolate in the house. Not just one piece or two, but ALL of it. The godiva choclate stash in my closet (my husband knows it is there-no worries), the chocloate chips, the mud pie ice cream. So I loved your assessment of the ice cream walking tour possibilities of the staycation neighborhood. I am doing well on my weight stuff, but it is SLOW going, almost a year and just 15 pounds. But at least I am moving in the right direction all the time, right? Now, after I finish my margarita, I think I’ll start on the Mud Pie Ice Cream!

  5. That is nothing but pure awesome! What on earth do you do with such an interesting piece of fashion? Wear it to cocktails… or would cookies and milk be more appropriate?

  7. While not exactly pretty, it does look very comfortable. I think you’re allowed to wear ugly garments at home as long as they provide the right amount of comfort.
