Mt. Rainier is less than 100 miles from Seattle. I have been living here for over 10 years and it never ceases to take my breath away. I was just reading the Wikipedia entry and my favorite line is:
“As of 2008, there is no evidence of an imminent eruption. However, an eruption could be devastating for all areas surrounding the volcano.”
You think? If this baby blows, we are toast.
PS. I took this last Sunday with my recessionista Nikon D50. I love this camera, it’s just the entry level digital SLR that I was hoping for. Thank the Craigslist Gods!
