Here’s a sneak peek at what our new living room looks like right now:

Living room

The trouble with moving into a bigger house is that you have to fill it with more stuff. And it doesn’t help when at the 11th hour of packing up the old place, you decide you don’t need half the things that you own because you’ve always hated it all of it anyway.

Right now we need curtains. And more wall coverings. And a new dining room table – (since the old one couldn’t fit through these old narrow doors). Our one rule this time around? Only buy the things that we love. Sorry IKEA.

These next few months will be spent scouring interior design blogs for fresh ideas and inspiration to make this house into home sweet home. Here’s a few that I know about:
